In 1979 Donald Vrebos, at the age of 22, set up a sole proprietorship called Vrebos-Stas. At that time the producer of windows and doors worked with only one worker. Now, more than 30 years later, Group Vrebos has become a successful business with 90 employees.

From the start we have specialised in producing and installing PVC windows and doors. “Ever since I was a young man, I had dreamed of my own business. But I never thought it would be such a success”, according to the managing director.

The business soon outgrew the initial workplace, and we had to move to a larger workplace in Overijse. In 1987 a brand-new showroom was built. In 2005 the new offices and the new showroom were ready for use.

We initially mainly focused on installing PVC windows. After building the showroom and extending the workplace we started installing ALU windows, doors and conservatories in 1995. Because this growing business could not afford to lose sight of the commercial side of the business world, Trade Systems was set up in 1996, to deal with all sales and marketing affairs.

After some time the production capacity in Overijse also became insufficient to meet the growing demand of customers. That is why we started to collaborate with the company Real Production in 2006. They take care of the production of ALU and PVC windows and doors.

Today Vrebos continues to be responsible for the installation of windows and doors.
